The Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center predicted that the coastal areas will witness partly cloudy weather tending to be warm during the day, while moderate weather will prevail at night, with chances of light and scattered rain on the southern coasts and the Socotra archipelago. It also indicated that the winds will be light to moderate on the eastern and southern coasts, and active on the western coasts and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. According to the daily bulletin issued by the center, the mountainous highlands are expected to witness stable and clear weather during the day, turning cold and very cold at night, with the possibility of frost formation in some areas. As for the atmosphere in the deserts and plateaus, it will be moderate during the day and cold at night, with light to moderate wind activity. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded for today are as follows: Coastal areas: Aden 30/24, Mukalla 30/22, Hodeidah 31/24, Socotra 31/22, Mocha 31/23, Al-Ghaydah 32/19, Zanzibar 31/23, Lahj 30/21. Deserts and plateaus: Seiyun 30/12, Marib 27/10, Ataq 26/12, Bayhan 27/10. Mountainous highlands: Sana'a 23/3, Taiz 27/11, Dhamar 22/2, Al-Dhalea 25/8, Ibb 24/7, Al-Bayda 22/3. The center urged citizens, especially the elderly and children, to take the necessary precautions to avoid the effects of the noticeable decrease in temperatures during the night and during the early morning hours. It also called on farmers, livestock breeders, and beekeepers to protect their crops and herds from severe cold waves. In the marine forecasts, the center explained that the sea will be light in wave on the coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Abyan, and Aden, while the condition ranges between light and moderate around Socotra, the western coasts, and Bab al-Mandab, with a warning of wave disturbance and its rise in some marine areas.
