5.2 magnitude earthquake strikes eastern Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck the Halmahera region of North Maluku province in eastern Indonesia, and no reports of material or human losses have been received as a result of the earthquake so far. The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics explained that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
