The Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center predicted today, Tuesday, that hot weather will continue during the day and moderate weather at night in the coastal and desert areas, compared to cold to very cold weather in the mountainous highlands during the night and early morning. The center indicated in its weather bulletin the possibility of scattered rain on the Socotra archipelago and parts of the eastern coasts and northwestern highlands, while winds are sometimes active in Bab al-Mandab and its neighboring areas. The center urged citizens, especially the elderly and children in mountainous areas, to take the necessary precautions against low temperatures, and called on farmers to protect their crops from cold waves. It also warned fishermen and seafarers in the southwestern coasts and Bab al-Mandab of sea disturbances and high waves, while the sea state remains light to moderate in most Yemeni coasts.
