**Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups:** **The Board of Directors of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate held a meeting today, chaired by the Governor, Engineer Raafat Al-Thaqali, to discuss the challenges facing the Fund's work and the efforts made to advance its tasks and improve the level of services provided to the community.** **The meeting reviewed the most prominent field and administrative difficulties during the year 2025, in addition to future plans aimed at developing performance and work mechanisms to meet the needs of the governorate.** **The Council praised the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, and from the United Arab Emirates through the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, which contributed to strengthening the Fund's capabilities and improving the urban and environmental appearance of Socotra.** **The meeting approved a number of recommendations aimed at raising performance efficiency and intensifying cleaning and improvement efforts, with follow-up on implementation through periodic reports, in order to contribute to improving the Fund's services throughout the governorate.**
