Aden ((Arabian Sea)) Special: Eight Yemeni poets have qualified for the semi-final stage of the "Prince of Poets" competition, after a strong round of competitions within the Round of 16, hosted by the temporary capital, Aden, over two days, under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Culture. The competition witnessed the participation of 16 poets from various liberated governorates, during which they presented texts that varied in style and poetic visions, which gave the competition a rich and exciting character, reflected in the difficulty of the jury's choices. The committee announced today, Thursday, the results of the qualifiers and the selection of eight contestants from the most prominent advanced talents, to qualify for the next stage, which will be held next Saturday, which will determine the best five poets who will qualify in turn for the final and decisive round. The competition enjoys wide public interest, amid expectations of escalating competition between the qualifiers in the next round, which will be a pivotal station before crowning the Prince of Poets for this season.
