The evening was moderated by media personality Ammar Al-Moallem, and the book was discussed by the former Egyptian Ambassador to Yemen, Ashraf Aql, Dr. Abdullah Al-Dhaifani, and Professor Munir Talal. In his intervention, Dr. Al-Dhaifani affirmed that the Yemeni Cultural Center in Cairo has become a window for cultural exchange and a center of intellectual radiance that highlights Yemeni and Arab cultural creations. He pointed out that the book dealt with a methodology based on the duality of conflict and coexistence, right and wrong, and good and evil, stressing that the human problem in coexistence goes back to the story of Abel and Cain. He added that Dr. Askar presented intellectual conclusions that enrich the human experience and addressed philosophical terms related to understanding society and its crises. In his analysis of the book's chapter titles, he said that they could form theses for subsequent studies, based on the Islamic vision, the Holy Quran, and the Sunnah of the Prophet. He also explained that the book presents a future vision for reforming religious discourse in line with the variables and developments of the era, and that one of its advantages is that it is open to all sciences and not limited to one. Professor Munir Talal considered the book to be the beginning or seed of an encyclopedia on human coexistence and represents an important introduction to studying the role of Islam in establishing the values of coexistence. He explained that Dr. Askar analyzed the causes of human conflicts and defined coexistence as a reality that is not ideal and is not without challenges, even in the most advanced societies. He explained that coexistence is closely linked to human dignity and freedom. For his part, Ambassador Ashraf Aql said that the book dealt with human relations from the beginning of creation to the modern era, analyzing the types of conflict and the roots of hatred. He pointed out the distinction made by the author between hate speech and freedom of expression, explaining how freedom is sometimes used to fuel hate speech and destroy countries from within by manufacturing and promoting rumors. He also pointed out that the book identified ways to reduce hate speech through Islamic values, rejecting extremist ideas, and rejecting terrorism, in addition to investing in good media and fortifying the Arabic language. He stressed that the Arab arena is in dire need of Dr. Askar's publication to promote the values of tolerance among peoples. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Najib Askar explained that he was keen to highlight the bright image of Islam as the bearer of the banner of human coexistence.
