Arab Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The administration of the Great Prophet Festival for Artistic and Cultural Creativity, in its twelfth session, concluded the festival's activities and competitions in Sana'a on Friday evening, with a wide audience attendance. During the closing ceremony, the jury announced the names of the winners of the first places in the Holy Quran recitation, chanting, and Arabic poetry competitions. The jury in the Holy Quran recitation competition announced the victory of contestant Abdulrahman Muthanna. In the chanting competition for adults, the jury announced the victory of contestant Hussein Qutaira. As for the Arabic poetry competition, the jury announced the contestant Ziad Al-Qahm. In the chanting competition for cubs, the jury announced the victory of contestant Abdulaziz Al-Jama'i. The closing ceremony of the Great Prophet Festival included flashes from the Prophet's biography, and milestones from his life and his faith-based and jihadist stances. The finalists in the field of chanting also presented a distinguished chanting performance, expressing the most sincere love and the highest meanings of loyalty to the Messenger of God on the anniversary of his honorable birth. The closing ceremony culminated in a high-quality and purposeful theatrical performance entitled "Creative and Innovative," directed by Qais Al-Samawi, and starring a number of Yemeni theater stars, namely: Abdul Nasser Al-Arasi, Abdulrahman Al-Joubi, Sultan Al-Jaadabi, Nizar Al-Sanfani, Anis Al-Ansi, Emad Al-Jaadi, and Ibrahim Qutaina. Commenting on the victory, the poet and writer Zaid Al-Qahm said: "After a long absence - or absence - from poetic participations, we have returned to appear to the public through the Arabic poetry competition and from the stage of the Great Prophet Festival." He added: "It was a beautiful opportunity to return to poetry, and this time with its finest and most sincere topics. I was honored to receive the shield for first place in the competition, after the qualifying stages and three stages of writing and delivering impromptu directly in front of the audience. I shared the stand on the stage with a beautiful group of distinguished poets, and a larger group in the four areas of the award."
