Arab Sea - Agencies: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Friday, that Russian forces have liberated the towns of Katerinovka, Vladimirovka, and Rosen Yar in the Donetsk region. The Russian Ministry of Defense said: "Units from the Center Group of Forces continued their offensive operations and liberated the towns of Sukhitskoye, Bankovka, Vladimirovka, and Rosen Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic, inflicting heavy losses on Ukrainian forces. The enemy lost up to 2,840 soldiers, two tanks, 30 armored fighting vehicles, three American-made armored personnel carriers, four Turkish-made armored vehicles, 64 vehicles, and 19 field guns." The statement added: "For the period from August 16 to 22, units of the Southern Group advanced deep into the enemy's defenses and liberated the towns of Aleksandro Shultino and Katerinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic." The Defense Ministry explained: "During the week, units from the Russian Eastern Group of Forces, as a result of effective and decisive operations, liberated the towns of Voronoye and Novogorgivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, repelled manpower, and targeted equipment belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces." The ministry indicated in its statement that the losses of Ukrainian forces in this direction amounted to more than 1,600 soldiers, five tanks, 25 armored fighting vehicles, 79 vehicles, 15 field guns, nine of which were NATO-produced, six electronic warfare stations, and three warehouses of material resources."
