Arab Sea – Follow-ups: The Israeli army announced today, Monday, that its air defenses intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen towards the center of the country, which led to the activation of sirens in Tel Aviv and surrounding areas. Israeli military sources confirmed that the missile was dealt with successfully without casualties, while the Houthi group claimed responsibility for the operation, stating that it targeted Ben Gurion Airport with a long-range Palestine 2 missile. Hebrew reports indicated that air traffic at the airport experienced partial disruption as a result of the attack, before gradually resuming. On the first day, Israel targeted the power station in the Haziz area in the suburbs of Sana'a, which led to a widespread power outage and sparked a wave of local and international condemnations, amid warnings of a worsening humanitarian crisis in Yemen. This mutual escalation comes amid increasing regional tension, as the Israeli Minister of Defense warned that his country would respond "with brutal force" to any threat to its lands or vital facilities.
