Ukraine announces Russian losses exceeding one million since the start of the war.

The Ukrainian army announced today, Saturday, that the number of Russian military personnel killed and wounded since the beginning of the war on Ukrainian territory on February 24, 2022, has risen to about 1,179,790, including 1,180 killed or wounded in the past 24 hours. This came in a statement published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its Facebook page, and reported by the Ukrainian National News Agency "Ukrinform." According to the statement, since the beginning of the war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,398 tanks, 23,688 armored combat vehicles, 34,874 artillery systems, 1,560 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,253 air defense systems. The statement added that 431 warplanes, 347 helicopters, 87,387 drones, 4,024 cruise missiles, 28 warships, one submarine, 69,037 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 4,015 units of special equipment were also destroyed.
