Diplomatic sources revealed that the United States distributed to members of the Security Council a revised draft resolution concerning the Gaza Strip, calling on all parties to implement the plan to end the war immediately and completely. The draft resolution stipulates the establishment of a peace council to act as a transitional governing body to oversee the administration of Gaza, and the establishment of an international stabilization force in coordination with Egypt and Israel, while allowing the peace council to form temporary executive bodies for civil authority. The resolution also calls for a full resumption of aid in cooperation with the United Nations, and the establishment of a reconstruction fund under the auspices of the World Bank and donors, according to "Al Jazeera Net." The draft resolution defines the stages of the Israeli army's withdrawal according to disarmament criteria, while maintaining a temporary security presence around the sector, and allows the peace council to continue until the end of 2027, provided that the Security Council approves subsequent measures, while emphasizing its commitment to international legal principles.
