The Russian news agency quoted the ministry as saying that the attack targeted several regions, including Russian border areas, without specifying the locations that were targeted or whether the attack resulted in casualties or material damage. This escalation comes within the framework of the ongoing war between Moscow and Kyiv, as Ukrainian forces have recently intensified their drone attacks on Russian military and industrial facilities, in an attempt to put pressure on the rear lines of the Russian army and disrupt its logistical capabilities.
