**Arab Sea - Reports:** The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) affirmed that the process of strengthening the country's military capabilities in various fields will not stop, stressing that any "miscalculation or aggression by enemies" will be met by Iran taking the initiative on the battlefield, with a "deadly response and a lesson to others." In a statement today, Sunday, on the occasion of the start of "Holy Defense Week," which coincides with the anniversary of the start of the war with Iraq in 1980, the IRGC added that the experience of the first and second Holy Defense (referring to confronting the Israeli attack on Iran) proved that "effective deterrence is the product of constant readiness, creativity in designing strategies, tactics, and operations in the face of enemies, as well as the continuous development of advanced defense and military technologies and systems in all fields." The statement affirmed that in the event of "any new miscalculation or aggression by the enemy, the Islamic Republic of Iran will take the initiative on the battlefield." This comes amid reports indicating that the Israeli leadership, after what it described as a "clear victory" in Operation "Rising Lion" (the 12-day war with Iran), is preparing for further rounds in confronting Iran.
