Arab Sea - Follow-ups: British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has strongly condemned the attack launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the city of Gaza, describing the operation as "barbaric and heinous." Cooper said in an official statement, "The new offensive operation by the Israeli army in Gaza is barbaric and heinous, and will cause more bloodshed, kill more innocent civilians, and endanger the lives of hostages." She added that "the current situation calls for urgent measures to stop the bloodshed, protect civilians, ensure the entry of humanitarian aid without any restrictions, release all hostages, and work towards a path to lasting and sustainable peace." The British Minister stressed that the international community must bear its responsibilities in pressuring the Israeli occupation to stop the attacks, warning that the continued military escalation exacerbates the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and threatens the stability of the entire region. Cooper affirmed that London will continue to cooperate with its international partners to ensure respect for international humanitarian law, and called on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid any steps that may lead to exacerbating human suffering.
