**Arab Sea - Follow-ups:** The Hebrew newspaper "Maariv" said on Wednesday that Israeli security agencies have begun to show a decline in their assessments regarding the success of an operation and the defeat of the assassination of senior Hamas leaders in Qatar in the Qatari capital, Doha. An Israeli source said that "until this moment, there is no confirmation of the success of the assassination of Hamas leaders," in an indication of a decrease in the level of official optimism regarding the results. Hamas issued an official statement on Tuesday confirming that none of the movement's senior officials who were targeted in the raid were injured, but it indicated that five people were killed at the scene, including the son of Khalil al-Hayya, his office director, and three of his guards and companions. The Israeli army announced that it carried out air strikes in Doha on Tuesday targeting senior Hamas leaders, who in turn confirmed the survival of their targeted negotiators, announcing the killing of six people in this unprecedented attack in Qatar, which in turn stressed that it "reserves the right to respond." Since the outbreak of the war in Gaza, Israel has killed many of the movement's first-tier leaders, including its leader in Gaza, Yahya al-Sinwar, and the commander of its military wing, Muhammad al-Deif, and others. Israel has also carried out assassinations abroad, particularly in Tehran against the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, and near Beirut against his deputy, Saleh al-Arouri.
