Arab Gulf - Follow-ups: A responsible source close to the White House administration revealed that President Trump's scheduled meetings in Washington today, Tuesday, will be held with four key European leaders from Germany, France, Poland, and Italy, individually with US President Donald Trump, and that the main goal is to determine a unified position on the settlement plan with Russia and discuss the future of military and financial support for Kyiv. The source explained that the agenda of the meetings includes 3 main points, the first of which is to discuss a roadmap for starting direct negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow starting from the middle of this month, in addition to reformulating security guarantees for Ukraine, and structuring the coalition of the willing. The source added: "Redistributing the financial burdens for Ukraine is also at the top of the agenda of the meetings, so that Europe bears 70% of the cost of support compared to 30% from the American side, which may lead to the preparation of a draft joint political statement in which the leaders announce their commitment to de-escalation and work towards a long-term settlement." The source pointed out that US President Donald Trump wants to restructure the coalition of the willing by discussing a proposal that includes the establishment of a small European leadership committee of 5 countries, namely: "France, Germany, Britain, Poland, and Italy"; to coordinate military support, and link the coalition's decisions directly to the White House to speed up the decision-making process. According to the source, there are 3 main outcomes expected to be announced: a preliminary agreement on the formula for security guarantees, which includes the deployment of limited European forces inside western Ukraine, and the activation of the joint financial plan that obliges the European Union to allocate an additional 40 billion euros during 2026 to support Kyiv, in addition to a declaration of intent to restructure the "coalition of the willing" so that an official statement is issued during a subsequent European-American summit in Brussels at the end of October.
