Arab Sea - Follow-ups: French President Emmanuel Macron warned Israel that any attack or attempt to annex territories would not hinder French recognition of a Palestinian state, stressing the continuation of diplomatic efforts with international partners, including Saudi Arabia. Macron also criticized the United States' decision to refuse visas to Palestinian officials to attend the United Nations General Assembly, considering it unacceptable and calling for Palestinian representation to be allowed in accordance with the headquarters agreement. These statements come as Israeli forces escalate their mobilization in preparation for an attack on Gaza, at a time when the humanitarian crisis in the besieged sector is worsening, amid a rise in the number of Palestinian deaths to more than 63,000 since October 2023.
