**Arab Sea - Agencies:** The Israeli army announced that it intercepted a missile launched from Yemen early Wednesday morning. This interception comes three days after the Israeli army bombed Houthi targets in the old Yemeni capital, Sanaa. The army said in a statement that "following the activation of sirens in a number of areas in Israel, the Israeli Air Force intercepted a missile launched from Yemen." Since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, following an unprecedented attack by Hamas on southern Israel, the Houthis have been constantly launching ballistic missiles and drones towards the Hebrew state, most of which are intercepted. The Houthis also launch attacks in the Red Sea on commercial ships they accuse of being linked to Israel. The Houthis say their attacks are part of their support for the Palestinians in Gaza. Israel responds to these attacks by striking Houthi-controlled sites in Yemen.
